I hate to say it, but you have to work your legs! Work your legs as hard as you can with the correct technique so you won’t injure yourself. It is extremely important that your technique is on point, so if you are unsure get someone you can trust to take a look at your form and give you honest feed back. There is nothing wrong with decreasing the weight to correct your form. You can increase the weight eventually to continue to obtain great results! It’s more important to have correct body mechanics to prevent injury than lifting heavy weight with incorrect form. You will start to get stronger, decrease body fat, build lean muscles and get to the desire weight you have been looking for. Remember, working the entire body at high intensity will help to increase your testosterone levels. Work those legs people! Dear Family and Friends, Many of you of may remember us writing to you last year about donating to our trip to Africa, we would like to take this moment to say thank you and to share some exciting news! WE have discovered that there will be another trip this year August 6-20, 2011! We jumped at the opportunity to go again!! We fell in love with the work there and want to continue building upon what we have started in the lives of the orphans at Kakabalika. To be honest, we never thought we would go to another country to be a part of such a work. Our church goes on mission’s trips all the time and we always just sat and listened to the testimonies saying, “uh huh, okay…” But we heard the cry in Zambia and we can’t ignore it. We don’t want to be another inconsistency in the lives of orphans, that’s the last thing they need. We want to be present with them as much as we can even if it’s just once a year for now. We have sat with these boys, not only in the orphanage but also those who still live on the streets. We shared more laughs than we can even count. We encouraged one another and just enjoyed each other’s company. We saw what it was like to feed a child and see their whole face light up because they were finally able to eat. We thought that in going to such a place we would need an interpreter with us or we wouldn’t be able to relate or understand them. But quite the opposite happened. We gained 39 brothers and counting. We thank God for such an opportunity to have went and we are hoping that with your help we can make it a reality for this year again. Would you consider donating what you can to help us go back to Zambia? The cost of the trip is $3000 per person so between the both of us that is $6000 but with the donations that have been coming in we now only have to raise $1,176 which we truly are thankful for!! Please don’t look at the amount and think you have to donate close to that, we know just what it’s like to look at such a number and be like “wow! I don’t know about this!” But He provided for us to go through family and friends last year and He is continuing to do the same this year! For small beginnings lead to bigger changes. So no matter what number you decide to give, we greatly appreciate it! And if you can’t provide a monetary donation, we definitely welcome and appreciate your prayers and encouragement.
